Food Network ‘Superchef’ Darnell Ferguson charged with domestic violent crimes

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (TND) — A man famous for hosting a show on the Food Network is now appearing in a police booking photo since he’s facing several serious criminal charges.

St. Matthews police in Kentucky announced they arrested Darnell Ferguson on Tuesday “for his alleged involvement in a domestic violence case.”

They said he was charged with burglary, strangulation, assault with minor injury, terroristic threatening, menacing, criminal mischief, and theft of a stolen credit or debit card.

Authorities added, they released that information “due to his celebrity status as a chef,” but, “Given the sensitive nature of domestic violence incidents
